As one of South Africa’s most revered media and style personalities, Noni Gasa’s formidable career began as a Features Editor at Media 24 in 2004 before joining GLAMOUR as an Associate Editor in 2007. Following her tenure in women’s magazines, she went on to lecture Fashion Media at LISOF and obtained her double Masters in Luxury Brand Management from China and Italy.

As a proud Durban native, Noni is a seasoned TV personality currently starring as resident judge on the hit reality series, Project Runway South Africa. She has established herself as an authority in the luxury fashion space and a sought-after PR specialist with extensive corporate and agency experience.

Beyond her striking beauty and renowned personal style, Noni also holds a BA Journalism degree, an MBA in Luxury Brand Management from IFA, Shanghai, and a Masters in Luxury Business from Polimoda Istituto, Italy. After completing her studies, Noni returned to South Africa and took on the role of Public Relations Manager at Woolworths and has since worked on a myriad of award-winning projects for other large corporations. With a passion for curating innovative and powerful brand campaigns.

With just over 14 years in the publishing and marketing industries, Noni is no stranger to broadcast as well. She has co-hosted a number of television shows like Big Brother Africa, Media Matters, The M-Net Movies Show, and starred as a judge on Mzansi Magic’s reality model search, Diamond In The Ruff. This year she made her television comeback as a resident judge on the first South African season of Project Runway: South Africa.. The South African public is elated to see Noni back on their TV screens. She brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge from a retail, branding, and fashion industry perspective.
